SQL Server Developer

Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases in a live production environment Troubleshoot and resolve complex database incidents ensuring minimal downtime Develop and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSIS packages for efficient ETL workflows Implement best practices for database security, backup, and disaster recovery Collaborate with DevOps and software teams to automate database deployments via CI/CD pipelines Create detailed data analytics reports and dashboards for business intelligence teams Monitor database performance and apply query performance tuning to reduce latency Participate in on-call production support rotations to maintain 24/7 database availability Required Skills & Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in SQL Server development, database administration, and ETL processes Expertise in writing optimized T-SQL queries, performance tuning, and indexing strategies Familiarity with relational databases: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle Experience with SSIS, PowerShell/Python scripting, and data migration strategies Knowledge of database security standards and access control mechanisms Understanding of cloud database services (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills
