The Procurement Specialist I position is responsible for timely and economical procurement and delivery of parts/materials, equipment and services used in Clark Pacific’s manufacturing operations. Under the supervision of the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Specialist, I will coordinate the day-to-day fulfillment of material requirements and assigned vendors to ensure timely material procurement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
- Fulfill purchase requisitions, bills of materials, and other data into tracking software as released.
- Reconcile invoice issues to enable supplier payment.
- Close Purchase Orders as dictated by job close requirements.
- Place Purchase Orders as released by request management system.
- Escalate reported supply issues to the Procurement Lead for resolution.
- Assist in maintaining Supplier Contact information database.
- Assist Procurement team with project work as needed.
- Follow up with vendors on shipments and inform requesters on delivery timeline.
- Interface with other departments to maintain Clark Pacific Core Values.

Work Environment
- General in-person office environment will be experienced.
- There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
- There will be periodic exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme cold and extreme heat, wet and/or humid environments.
Physical Demands
- Frequent: Sitting at a desk, utilizing computers and phones, standing and walking.
- Periodic: Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements.
- Occasional: Business travel (less than 5%). Bending squatting, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Experience and Education
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of View Point Software is preferred.
