As an R&D Intern, you will contribute to initiatives that support the integration of AI technologies into enterprise imaging environments. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside engineering, quality, and AI teams to help document cloud-based infrastructure and technical processes that support innovation in image quality control and operational efficiency. What You’ll Be Doing
Document cloud-based architecture supporting AI/ML model integrations across imaging and technology platforms
Create clear technical documentation for AI model inputs and outputs, workflow interactions, data movement, and system dependencies
Develop architecture diagrams, process maps, and interface documentation to support engineering and quality teams
Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and quality stakeholders to understand system behavior, monitoring strategies, and operational workflows
Help standardize reusable documentation templates and best practices for future AI integration initiatives
What We Look For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model inference and data workflows
Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure, system architecture, or technical platform integrations
Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, structured documentation
Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs
Exposure to APIs, JSON structures, or technical interface documentation is preferred
Experience creating technical diagrams or process documentation is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship
