Senior Backend Engineer

Overview of the Role

Sky2C is looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing and maintaining a robust backend infrastructure for our web product, integrating third-party services, and leading backend development efforts to ensure high-quality delivery. The position is ideal for someone with extensive experience in backend development in B2B, Marketplace, Fulfillment, or Supply Chain environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience in B2B, Marketplace, Fulfillment, or Supply Chain.
• Proficiency in Node.js (Express or NestJS), MongoDB, and Mongoose ODM.
• Expertise in integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping services.
• Experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Proven ability to set up and deploy CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a robust backend system for our web product.
• Integrate JSON and SOAP third-party web services seamlessly.
• Design MongoDB schemas and implement complex aggregation pipelines.
• Lead the backend development team, ensuring high-quality code and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Interview Process

2. Technical Assignment - A take-home assignment to assess your coding skills and problem-solving abilities.
3. Technical Interview - An in-depth interview with our engineering team to evaluate your technical expertise.
4. Final Round with Senior Leadership - A discussion with senior leadership to understand your fit within the team and company culture

• Office Attendance: The candidate is expected to visit office twice a week.
