Frontend Engineer

Overview

Commotion is seeking a Frontend Engineer with expertise in React.js to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will design and implement user interfaces that provide seamless and engaging user experiences. You'll have flexible working hours and the opportunity to contribute significantly to innovative projects.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with React.js ecosystem tools, such as Redux, React Router, and Hooks.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and state management in React.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
• Experience with build tools and bundlers such as Webpack.
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging in React applications.
• Experience with UX/UI design tools such as Figma or Sketch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable frontend applications using React.js.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share best practices with the team.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development, particularly within the React ecosystem.

Interview Process

2 to 3 technical rounds focused on live coding, design, problem-solving, and DSA, with an emphasis on React.js expertise.
