Role Purpose
The Claims Manager will own, govern, and continuously improve the end to end claims management process globally, ensuring disciplined validation, timely resolution, minimal financial leakage, and maximum recovery for Ennovi. The position is accountable for establishing, governing, and executing global claims management, recovery, across regions and serves as the independent commercial gatekeeper, ensuring due diligence before every claim settlement. The role acts as the central authority on claims logic, evidence, governance, and settlement, working cross functionally with Sales, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, and Program teams.
Main Responsibilities
1. Claims Governance & Validation
- Independently validate logic, eligibility, contractual basis, and evidence for:
- Customer claims on Ennovi (Quality defects, delivery failures, SOP delays, chargebacks, etc.)
- Ennovi claims on customers (Program cancellations, SOP delays, volume shortfall, cost recovery, etc.)
- Ensure claims are aligned with:
- Customer agreements, SOPs, contracts, and commercial terms
- Internal policies, quality standards, and accountability frameworks
- Financial exposure and recoverability
- Challenge weak or non compliant claims using data, facts, and contractual interpretation.
- Act as a central authority to challenge non-compliant, inflated, or unsubstantiated claims before approval or settlement.
2. End to End Claims Management
- Own the full lifecycle of claims:
- Intake → Validation → Evidence collation → Review → Negotiation support → Settlement → Closure
- Maintain clear audit trail and documentation for every claim.
- Drive timely closure of aged claims and prevent backlog.
- Evidence Collation & Case Building
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Legal to collate irrefutable evidence for claim recovery related to:
- Program cancellations
- Volume drops vs award volume
- SOP delays
- Expedite costs
- Excess/obsolete inventory (E&O)
- Tooling amortization losses
- Premium freight
- Develop water tight commercial cases to maximize Ennovi claim recoveries from customers and suppliers.
- Standardize claims documentation, templates, and contractual evidence requirements across regions.
3. Sales & Operations Enablement
- Equip Sales & Operations teams with:
- Financial facts – Impact analysis
- Root cause analysis
- Contractual positioning
- Data-backed counterarguments
- Enable front-line teams to:
- Proactively minimize claim payouts
- Confidently pursue claim recoveries
- Negotiate from a fact-based, financially sound position
- Act as a thought partner during escalations and executive-level negotiations.
4. Reporting, Analytics & KPI Management
- Build and maintain standardized global reporting cadence:
- Open vs closed claims
- Aged claims
- Recovery vs payout trends
- Root causes and systemic issues
- Provide executive ready dashboards and insights for leadership reviews.
5. Claims Tool Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Own and govern the Claims Management Tool / System:
- Data quality, usage discipline, workflow adherence
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives:
- Process standardization across regions
- SOP development and updates
- Automation and digitization opportunities
- Drive root cause elimination, not just claim resolution.

Skills & Competencies
Technical & Functional Skills
- Deep understanding of:
- Automotive / electronics OEM commercial models
- APQP, PPAP, SOP, VA/VE frameworks
- Cost industrialization and manufacturing economics
- Strong pricing, cost build-ups, and margin analysis capabilities
- Commercial contracts & T&Cs
- Advanced financial acumen (P&L, cost drivers, leakage analysis)
- Experience working with:
- Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers
- EMS or industrial OEM customers
- Advanced Excel, ERP (SAP), CRM / claims systems
Behavioral & Leadership Skills
- High degree of commercial rigor and independence
- Strong stakeholder influencing and negotiation skills

Education & Experience
- MBA / master’s degree in finance, Strategy, Operations, or equivalent
- 12+ years of experience in:
- Commercial excellence
- Pricing
- Sales operations
- Finance or program management roles in a global industrial/manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of:
- Claims reduction and recovery
- Margin protection
- Governance implementation at scale
- Experience supporting global, multi plant manufacturing footprints preferred
