🚨 Hiring: Medical Officer | ICU & Medical Claims
We are looking for an experienced Medical Officer / Clinical Professional with strong ICU exposure and a good understanding of clinical care, medical documentation and insurance claims processing.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling both clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and coordinating with consultants, hospital teams and insurance/TPA stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review patient history, admission notes, progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries.
- Provide clinical support for ICU/HDU and critical care cases.
- Review and validate medical records for preauthorization and reimbursement claims.
- Review investigations, laboratory reports and imaging from a clinical perspective.
- Coordinate with consultant physicians, surgeons and bedside teams regarding patient management.
- Ensure accurate and complete clinical documentation as per healthcare standards.
- Identify documentation gaps and provide appropriate clinical inputs/queries.
- Support real-time clinical review of critical and complex cases.
- Stay updated with medical guidelines, insurance policies and healthcare documentation requirements.
Eligibility:
- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS / B.Sc Nursing
- Relevant ICU / Critical Care experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation and patient records.
- Knowledge of health insurance claims, preauthorization and reimbursement processes.
- TPA / Insurance / Claims experience will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, analytical and coordination skills.
