POSITION SUMMARY
The Mgr, Ops Risk Analytics plays a pivotal role in safeguarding company assets and profitability by reducing exposure to risks such as theft, food cost management /waste and labor management. They analyze restaurant P&Ls and operating systems to develop strategies to mitigate risks and partner with field operations to help address restaurant opportunities. This role involves compiling and analyzing data related to loss, implementing loss prevention methodologies and recipe management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May perform any or all of the following duties:
▪ Identifies and analyzes problem areas within the company
▪ Collaborate with the Field Operations team to implement policies and procedures aimed at reducing exposure and increasing profitability. The primary objective is to boost our margin beyond the current target, with an anticipated improvement year after year in the P&L focusing on areas such as food, labor, cash shortages, cash overages, cash handling, under-ringing sales, etc.
▪ Establishes strong relationships throughout the entire organization.
▪ Develop professional and cost-effective methods to enhance company profit while minimizing legal exposures
▪ Provides supervision and counseling to restaurant operations staff regarding Loss Prevention issues
▪ Partners with the Director of Operations to ensure guidelines are incorporated into CKE operating policies and procedures, and provides essential information to assist in conducting investigations into theft and fraud incidents within the company.
▪ Works cross functionally with Operations, Human Resources and Legal to resolve investigations.
▪ Primary owner of exception-based reporting system and develops plans and reports
▪ Establish regular communication with leadership to align investigative function with overall AP strategy
▪ Primary owner of video system/strategies to include strategies to utilize video as follow up to incidence.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES
▪ Approximately six (6) years’ experience collectively between Field Operations and Loss Prevention; multi-unit restaurant experience within a Franchise and Company restaurant environment preferred
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally
▪ Ability to identify viable operational process improvements with metrics and risk analysis, implementing changes in systems and procedures
▪ Strong Leadership skills; experience with skills development and coaching
▪ Strong work ethic; commitment to seeing duties completed at a high standard of quality
▪ Experience with Crunchtime, Par Brink, Olo, Tableau a plus

▪ Restaurant Support Center, restaurant locations, vendor sites, fast paced and demanding environment
