Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in Udaipur. The Quality Engineer will oversee and coordinate trial applications of CemecoPlast products on active construction sites, ensuring correct usage, quality standards, and adherence to technical specifications. The role involves planning and executing field trials, monitoring and documenting performance, and preparing reports and recommendations for internal teams and clients. The Quality Engineer will coordinate with contractors and internal R&D and sales teams to address technical queries, resolve on-site issues, and support product demonstrations and trainings. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records of site visits, assisting with method statements and technical documentation, and contributing feedback to improve products and application methods.
Qualifications
- Strong technical foundation in civil engineering, construction materials, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with site supervision, field trials, or execution of plastering and related work.
- Proficiency in documenting site observations, preparing trial reports, and using basic digital tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, site-reporting apps) for data collection and analysis.
- Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills for working with contractors, project managers, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address on-site application issues and recommend practical, safety-focused solutions.
- Ability to work primarily on-site in Udaipur, including regular visits to multiple project locations.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
