Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil & Structural Draftsman, based in Chennai. The role involves preparing detailed structural and civil drawings, assisting in the creation and revision of design plans, and ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards. The Draftsman will collaborate with engineers and architects to translate technical designs and concepts into accurate drawings, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software. Regular coordination with project teams for updates and amendments will also be required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software
- Strong understanding of civil and structural drafting principles
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches
- Experience creating detailed drawings for infrastructure and structural projects
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with engineers and architects
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Diploma or certification in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field; bachelor's degree is a plus
