Job Title: Civil Site Engineer
Location: Field/Construction Site Based/Multi Site
Job Summary
We are seeking a physically fit, energetic, and experienced Civil Engineer to manage high-activity construction projects from conception to completion. This role is not a desk job; it requires daily on-site presence, walking across uneven terrain, climbing, and supervising field labor in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, ensuring structural integrity, quality, and safety protocols are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Active Site Supervision: Actively manage on-site construction activities, including concrete pouring, steel reinforcement checks, and structural framework installation.
- Field Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety codes.
- Labor & Subcontractor Management: Assign daily tasks to workers, manage subcontractors, and ensure high-productivity and quality work.
- Logistics & Equipment Oversight: Supervise the movement of materials (cement, steel) and ensure construction machinery is functional and utilized correctly.
- Troubleshooting: Address on-site technical issues and unforeseen conditions immediately to prevent project delays.
- Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, maintain material inventory, and review Running Account Bills.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce stringent safety, health, and environmental protocols to prevent hazards on-site.

Physical Requirements (Required for this Active Role)
- Ability to work in a high-intensity, on-site environment.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long hours on uneven, rough ground.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding to inspect elevated structures.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain).
- Must be able to lift or move equipment/materials (up to 30-50 lbs, as needed).
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 3–8 years of experience in on-site construction management
- (e.g., high-rise buildings, infrastructure projects).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, site surveying tools (Total Station), and project management software.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication to direct teams and negotiate with subcontractors.
- Travel & Licenses: Own Vehicle & Valid driver’s license for traveling between sites.
