Job Position: Sales Manager – Defence & Government
Role Overview
This is a field-driven sales role focused on building and expanding opportunities across Defence and Government accounts—including Armed Forces, DRDO, DPSUs (e.g., BEL, HAL), and key government bodies.
You will work on account development, customer engagement, and supporting deal progression in long-cycle, strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop opportunities across defence and government accounts
- Engage with DRDO, Armed Forces, DPSUs, and government stakeholders
- Support RFI/RFP/tender processes (GeM, DPP frameworks, iDEX)
- Build relationships across technical, user, and procurement teams
- Drive field engagement, prospecting, and account growth
- Support pipeline management, forecasting, and deal progression
- Represent Simnovus at relevant industry events
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years in telecom / networking / RF / test & measurement sales
- Exposure to government or defence accounts preferred
- Basic understanding of 4G/5G / wireless systems
- Familiarity with GeM / government procurement is a plus
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, or related field; MBA preferred
- Strong communication skills and willingness to travel
