Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Project Engineer role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Civil Project Engineer will oversee day-to-day project activities, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction work to ensure alignment with approved designs, specifications, and schedules. The role involves preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, assisting with quantity estimation, and supporting site layout and execution. The engineer will work with contractors, supervisors, and vendors to resolve technical issues, coordinate materials and resources, and maintain project documentation and reports. The position also includes performing regular site inspections, enforcing quality and safety standards, and supporting compliance with local regulations and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and construction standards.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge in Site Development, including grading, roadworks, utilities, and coordination of site services.
- Understanding of Stormwater Management principles and drainage design as applied to infrastructure and building projects.
- Experience with Quality Control on construction sites, including inspections, test coordination, and documentation of non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; relevant professional certifications or licenses are an advantage.
- Proficiency in common engineering and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), as well as MS Office for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks under project deadlines.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a commitment to safety, quality, and ethical work practices.
