Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Professor based in Bengaluru. The Civil Professor will be responsible for designing and delivering academic courses, preparing and conducting lectures, supervising student projects, assessing academic progress, and contributing to curriculum development. Additionally, the role involves guiding students on research projects and fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment that ensures academic success.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Civil Engineering concepts, including Structural Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering
- Proficiency in Research Methodology and Academic Writing techniques
- Teaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities relevant to civil engineering projects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion in academia
- Familiarity with educational technologies and learning management systems is a plus
- Ph.D. or a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with prior teaching or research experience
