Job Title: Planning Engineer - Civil Construction Experience Required Pune
Only Pune-based candidates will be considered
Role Summary:
The Planning Engineer will play a critical role in managing project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities to ensure efficient execution and timely delivery. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines, optimize resources, and ensure cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and budgets based on project requirements
Monitor project progress and prepare periodic reports for management review
Coordinate with site teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants for smooth execution
Analyze technical drawings and prepare material and cost estimates
Track resource utilization and ensure alignment with project plans
Identify delays or risks and take corrective actions proactively
Ensure all project activities are completed within defined timelines and budgets
Participate in meetings and provide planning insights to stakeholders
Maintain proper documentation related to planning and scheduling
Experience Required:
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
Experience in project planning and scheduling is mandatory
Educational Qualification:
BE or ME in Civil Engineering
NICMAR qualification will be an added advantage
Skills Required:
Proficiency in MS Project MSP and AutoCAD is mandatory
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 is preferred
Strong understanding of planning budgeting and scheduling concepts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Work Mode:
On-site Pune location
Additional Requirements:
Construction experience is mandatory
