Job Responsibilities
- Analyse survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photos and other topographical or geological data to plan projects.
- Plan and execute various construction related activities with adherence to necessary Codes of execution, quality, safety standards which includes Government regulations as well.
- Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
- Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
- Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
- Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to determine project feasibility.
- Prepare or present public reports, such as Bill of Quantities, bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, and property and right-of-way descriptions.
- Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt etc.
- Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.
- Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess the potential impact of projects.
- Oversee various CSR and Fit-Out related activities on behalf of Client, which include site visits, preparation on BOQ, estimation of cost, execution and quality control, work inspections and completion.
- Oversee the operational cost with reference to the allocated budget and prepare detailed estimates of budgets for every financial year.
- To aid in the closure of various Audits points.
- To Initiate and Coordinate with consultants of varied fields based on necessity at site.
- To track and ensure submission of Indents and Invoices related to Civil related activities as per the timelines/requirement.
- To implement initiatives which improve the customer delight, cost effective, process improvement etc.
- To adhere to daily sunrise meetings with the reporting manager and discuss/ update various activities.
Accountability
- Makes periodic inspections of the building premises to determine whether the services are adequate & whether any additional attention is needed.
- Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors and service providers. Contracted work may include various repair & maintenance, improvements, and developments as per site conditions for civil, interiors, painting, carpentry, infrastructures and other relevant areas (as suggested by management).
- All the staffs deployed are highly competitive and ensure that their active participation in all the drills and during emergency.
- To ensure TAT is adhered for all the complaints/requirements.
- To collect and keep all building related information and share MAMR every month before due date.
- To effectively communicate HSE Policy using toolbox talk/daily safety talk to all employees
- Direct the planning & delivery of all Property related & administrative support services & activities at the site on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure that all the civil equipment and assets are maintained well with 100 % uptime.
