Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement for sports infrastructure and civil construction projects across India
- Source and procure materials such as synthetic sports flooring, artificial turf, acrylic surfaces, EPDM, PUF systems, MS/SS fabrication materials, civil materials, lighting, fencing, and sports equipment
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers nationwide
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with vendors
- Float RFQs, collect quotations, perform comparative analysis, and finalize suppliers
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Stores, and Accounts departments for procurement planning
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites as per execution schedules
- Monitor material quality, quantity, and specification compliance
- Track purchase orders, dispatches, logistics, and inward material status
- Maintain procurement MIS, vendor databases, purchase records, and rate contracts
- Handle transportation coordination and logistics follow-up for Pan India projects
- Ensure cost optimization and identify alternate sourcing opportunities
- Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and supplier performance
- Resolve vendor disputes, supply delays, and material shortages effectively
- Support project teams during urgent and critical procurement requirements
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes
Required Skills
- Strong vendor negotiation and procurement management skills
- Knowledge of construction and sports infrastructure materials
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics coordination
- Strong analytical and commercial understanding
- Excellent follow-up and coordination abilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tracking tools
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field
