Job DescriptionAs a Civil Engineer / Liaison Officer, you will hold a dual responsibility role. You will bridge the gap between technical site execution and the regulatory framework required to keep projects moving smoothly.
1. Site Engineering & Project Management:
- Supervision: Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is executed as per architectural drawings and structural details.
- Quality Control: Monitor material quality and workmanship to ensure strict adherence to company standards.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with contractors, labor, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports for management review.
2. Liaison & Regulatory Coordination:
- Permitting: Manage the end-to-end process of obtaining Building Permits, Occupancy Certificates, and other statutory approvals from the Trivandrum Corporation/Municipality.
- Documentation: Prepare and organize all necessary files, drawings, and documents required for regulatory submissions.
- Representation: Act as the official company representative in meetings with government officials and regulatory bodies.
- Compliance: Ensure all ongoing projects comply with the latest KMBR (Kerala Municipality Building Rules) and local bye-laws.
Candidate Requirements- Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 1 Year of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Sasthamangalam, Trivandrum.
- Work Mode: Full-time, On-site.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of KMBR and local building regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with officials.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle site challenges independently.
