Role Description This full-time, on-site Civil Engineer / Billing Engineer role is based in Gandhinagar. The position involves preparing and reviewing engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents for civil works, as well as coordinating project planning and scheduling. The role includes managing quantity estimation, measurement verification, and preparation of bills, invoices, and cost reports in line with project contracts. The engineer will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely execution, compliance with safety and quality standards, and accurate documentation. Regular site visits, monitoring of construction progress, and maintaining records for billing, variations, and certifications are integral to the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with practical understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on infrastructure or building projects, including coordination with site and project teams.
- Competence in project Planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for civil works.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and related drainage, sewer, or water infrastructure design.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and MS Office for documentation and billing.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and contract documents.
- Good communication skills, ability to work on-site as part of a multidisciplinary team, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
