Position: Site Civil Engineer
Location: Adajan, Surat (On-Site)
Experience Required:2 to 5 years of experience in residential building projects (High-rise / Low-rise / Villas)
Salary : No bar for the right candidate
Site Execution & Quality Control
• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site to ensure work aligns with architectural and structural drawings.
• Maintain strict quality control for all civil works, including RCC structure, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Perform layout marking, checking centerlines, column reinforcement, and shuttering before concrete casting.
Resource & Contractor Management
• Coordinate with sub-contractors, laborers, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and prevent project delays.
• Verify contractor bills and measure quantities of work completed on-site against the agreed terms.
Material & Inventory Management
• Monitor material consumption and maintain a daily log of inventory (cement, steel, sand, aggregate, etc.) to minimize wastage.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming materials and arrange for laboratory testing (e.g., concrete cube tests) as required.
Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and update the project management team on milestones and challenges.
• Ensure all safety norms and labor compliance regulations are strictly followed on the construction site.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Proven experience specifically in residential building construction (RCC frames, finishing, and handovers).
Technical Skills:
Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
Proficiency in basic surveying and leveling instruments.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Excel is highly preferred.
