Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil engineering plans and drawings for residential and industrial development projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Daily tasks include planning and coordinating site activities, performing calculations, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors. The role involves overseeing site execution, monitoring project progress, inspecting work quality, and addressing technical issues that arise during construction. The Civil Engineer will also support stormwater management design, infrastructure layout, cost estimation, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, safety, and sustainability p
ractices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and practical experience applying civil engineering principles to real estate or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including preparation and review of plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Experience with Planning of site layouts, infrastructure networks, and project timelines in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related regulatory requirements for urban and industrial developments.
- Ability to work effectively as a Civil Engineer within project teams, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) and strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Understanding of local building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations applicable in Ahmedabad and the wider region.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Prior experience in real estate development, residential townships, or industrial plotting projects is an advantage.
