Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Delhi, India. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil engineering plans for infrastructure projects, including site layouts, stormwater systems, roads, and structural components. Day-to-day tasks include preparing drawings and technical specifications, performing calculations, coordinating with project managers and contractors, and ensuring compliance with local codes and standards. The role involves site visits for inspections, progress monitoring, and quality assurance, as well as resolving on-site technical issues. The Civil Engineer will also contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and documentation to support successful delivery within scheduled timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills for developing and reviewing project plans, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on infrastructure or building projects, with practical exposure to field and office-based responsibilities.
- Planning skills to support project scheduling, resource coordination, and integration of design and construction activities.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency with engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and MS Office applications.
- Strong understanding of local building codes, safety standards, and construction practices in India.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi and conduct regular site inspections and coordination meetings.
- Relevant professional certifications or registration as an engineer (where applicable) are an advantage.
