Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Worli. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing civil engineering layouts and infrastructure for NURA centers, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Daily activities include preparing and checking engineering drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders, and supporting planning and execution of construction and fit-out works. The role involves assessing stormwater management needs, site drainage, and utility arrangements to ensure functional, sustainable, and patient-friendly facilities. The Civil Engineer will also monitor project progress, support site inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement of design and construction practices.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, including the ability to develop and review structural and infrastructure plans.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers in planning, coordination, and site execution for commercial or healthcare facilities.
- Planning and Stormwater Management skills to design effective site layouts, drainage systems, and utility connections.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in engineering design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in healthcare or commercial building projects is an advantage.
