Job Title:Water Supply, Sewerage & Drainage Engineer
Job Summary:Responsible for planning, designing, executing, and maintaining water supply systems, sewerage networks, and drainage infrastructure to ensure efficient and safe distribution and disposal of water. The role includes site supervision, coordination with contractors, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop water supply, sewerage, and drainage systems.
- Prepare layouts, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Supervise installation of pipelines, manholes, pumps, and drainage systems.
- Ensure proper connection of water supply and sewer lines.
- Monitor construction work at site and ensure quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, labor, and other engineers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and government regulations.
- Perform testing of pipelines (leakage test, pressure test, flow test).
- Maintain records, reports, and project documentation.
- Plan maintenance and repair activities for existing systems.
Required Skills:- Knowledge of water supply and sewerage system design
- Understanding of drainage systems and stormwater management
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Site supervision and project management skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience in water supply, sewerage, or drainage projects (preferred)
Work Environment:- Combination of office work and field/site work
- May involve outdoor work in various weather conditions
