Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Noida. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising civil works related to substations, transmission lines, underground cabling, and associated infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design drawings and calculations, coordinating with electrical and automation teams, reviewing contractor work, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves conducting site assessments, supporting stormwater and drainage planning, preparing technical documentation and BOQs, and assisting in tender and bid processes. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, including structural and infrastructure design for utility and industrial projects.
- Experience in Civil Engineering project Planning, scheduling, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and site development for substations and related facilities.
- Demonstrated experience working as Civil Engineers on EPC or infrastructure projects, preferably in power or energy sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent); a master’s degree or relevant certifications is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports, and to perform basic structural calculations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site with engineering, construction, and client teams.
- Prior experience in substation civil works, transmission line foundations and tower foundation etc.
Experience: 4 to 5 years
