Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Madhya Pradesh, India. The Civil Engineer will oversee and manage construction activities for residential and commercial projects, including site supervision, coordination of contractors and workers, and monitoring project progress against plans and schedules. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing structural and civil drawings, conducting technical evaluations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and supporting quantity estimation and resource planning. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design and execution issues and maintain clear documentation and reporting. The Civil Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement in construction processes and support timely completion of projects within budget.
Qualifications
- Strong civil engineering fundamentals, including structural analysis, building construction methods, and materials knowledge.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Experience with site supervision, quality control, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with common civil/structural design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), and basic project documentation tools.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work, manage timelines, and solve practical problems on construction sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; relevant professional certifications or licenses are an advantage.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial building projects in India is preferred, especially within North Indian regions.
- Willingness to work on-site in Madhya Pradesh and travel to project locations as required.
