Role Description The Civil Engineer role at Geeta Infra is a full-time, on-site position based in Nagpur. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for commercial and private construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include site supervision, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role involves planning and scheduling project activities, performing basic calculations, managing materials and resources, and assisting in resolving technical issues on site. The Civil Engineer will also collaborate with the project team to manage stormwater and drainage solutions, support cost and time control, and prepare technical documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Planning and project coordination in civil construction.
- Candidates should possess skills in Stormwater Management and drainage planning for infrastructure and building projects.
- Candidates should possess experience working as Civil Engineers on commercial and private construction sites.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency with basic engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar tools) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site in a team environment.
