Role Description The Civil Engineer will work full time in a hybrid arrangement, primarily based in Cannanore with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to civil engineering design for architectural projects, preparing plans and technical drawings, and coordinating structural and site development requirements with the architecture team. The role involves supporting stormwater management and other infrastructure solutions, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The Civil Engineer will collaborate closely with architects, other engineers, and project stakeholders, participate in site visits, and assist in resolving technical issues throughout the design and construction phases.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to architectural and structural projects.
- Experience in Planning and coordinating civil works, including site layouts, grading, and infrastructure integration.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices, drainage design, and relevant local regulations.
- Background working as Civil Engineers on building or infrastructure projects, preferably in an architectural or construction environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or licensure is an advantage.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM software (optional), structural analysis tools).
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, prepare detailed technical documentation, and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
