Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Vapi. The Civil Engineer will plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of structures and infrastructure such as industrial facilities, roads, drainage systems, and related civil works. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations, conducting site surveys, monitoring work progress, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role involves coordination with project managers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to manage timelines, resolve technical issues, and optimize construction methods and materials. The Civil Engineer will also assist with cost estimates, tender documentation, and reporting on project status to internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong civil engineering fundamentals, including structural analysis, design of concrete and steel structures, and knowledge of construction materials.
- Candidates should possess applied project skills such as site supervision, quantity estimation, project planning, and basic cost control.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with engineering and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design software) and be comfortable with technical documentation and drawings.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to civil construction, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with contractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution is required; prior experience in industrial or infrastructure projects in or near Vapi will be an advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work on-site in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
