Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Designer / Estimator to support design development and cost estimation for infrastructure and construction projects. The role involves preparing technical drawings, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates while coordinating with engineers, architects, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Civil Design
- Prepare 2D/3D civil drawings using software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools
- Assist in site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design
- Interpret engineering designs and convert them into detailed drawings
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and project specifications
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients
Estimation
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents
- Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs
- Review subcontractor/vendor quotations and compare pricing
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
