We are Hiring – Civil Design Engineer (Location – Ganapathy,Coimbatore)
Applicants must have at least 5 years (real estate) experience.
DESIGN ENGINEER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
Design Coordination
- Prepare the design for as per Client requirements
- Coordinate with architects, structural, and MEP consultants for preparation and finalization of drawings.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for constructability and compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with local authority norms, NBC, and relevant IS codes.
- Prepare, review, and issue good for Construction (GFC) drawings.
- Manage drawing revisions and maintain proper documentation.
- Site Coordination & Execution Support
- Coordinate between design consultants and site execution teams.
- Provide technical clarifications and resolve drawing-related issues at site.
- Attend coordination and review meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Support site teams in work sequencing and method statements.
Cost & Quantity Support
- Assist in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
- Support cost estimation, budgeting, and variation evaluation.
- Coordinate with QS and billing teams for measurement and certification.
Documentation & Control
- Maintain drawing registers, and revision control.
- Ensure timely circulation of approved drawings to site.
- Maintain project planning and design records.
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD / Revit
- MS Project / Primavera P6
- MS Excel (advanced level)
- Knowledge of construction methods, codes, and standards
Soft Skills
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Time management and multitasking
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
