Position: Senior Civil 3D Draughtsman
Location: Bangalore
Department: Engineering / Survey / CAD
Key Responsibilities:Civil 3D Drafting:
- Prepare accurate engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Develop topographical maps, road alignments, profiles, and cross-sections
- Convert survey data into detailed CAD drawings and 3D models
- Generate surface models and grading designs as per project requirements
- Coordinate with surveyors and engineers for data validation
QA/QC Responsibilities:
- Perform self-check and peer review of drawings before submission
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, client standards, and company SOPs
- Verify accuracy of survey inputs, dimensions, elevations, and CAD outputs
- Maintain version control and documentation of drawing revisions
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for final validation and approval prior to client submission
- Identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in drawings proactively
- Ensure adherence to naming conventions, layering standards, and file management protocols
Coordination & Reporting:
- Liaise with design, survey, and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Support project teams in resolving drafting and data-related issues
- Maintain drawing logs and progress updates
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
- 5–8 years of experience in Civil 3D drafting
- Strong expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D (mandatory)
- Experience in infrastructure, survey-based, or engineering projects
