About The Role

As a Robotics Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting deployed products and spearheading new product development initiatives. You will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and refinement of our autonomous construction technology.

Your role will involve interacting with customers, providing both remote and on-site support, conducting rigorous testing before shipment, and leading training sessions to ensure customers fully understand robot operation and maintenance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of robotics, field applications, and customer success in a fast-growing tech company.

What You’ll Do

• Train and support customers both remotely and on-site (US and internationally) to ensure seamless operation of robotic systems

• Provide technical troubleshooting and diagnostics, helping customers resolve issues efficiently

• Assemble and integrate robots, leveraging skills in electronics, soldering, wiring, and motor calibration to ensure reliability and performance

• Conduct stress tests and field validation to confirm operational effectiveness in various conditions

• Assist in hardware and software upgrades, integrating new sensor designs and improving system functionality

• Develop and improve fleet management tools for scalable robotic operations and diagnostics

• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and customer interactions

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer success teams to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction

• Contribute to customer success initiatives to ensure high adoption rates and satisfaction with our technology

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, electronics, wiring, motor control (PID tuning), and troubleshooting

• Proficiency in GitHub and ROS (Robot Operating System), with at least 1 year of experience using these platforms

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide both remote and on-site technical support

• Excellent communication skills, with experience in documenting processes, training materials, and customer support cases

• Willingness to travel internationally 1-2 times per quarter for short trips and domestically up to 4 days a month

• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: $100K–$140K + Annual Bonus & Equity

• Full medical, dental, and vision benefits

• Stock options in an early-stage startup that’s growing quickly

• Work with a great team from diverse backgrounds in a collaborative and supportive environment

• Very generous, flexible PTO policy – take the time you need to recharge

This is a hands-on, dynamic role where you will work on real-world robotics applications, solve customer challenges, and help shape the future of automation in construction.
