High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years journey-level public water system experience including water treatment plant operations, with at least 2 years in a lead role; California Class C driver's license; SWRCB Water Treatment Plant Operator Grade IV certification required at application, Grade V within 24 months, Water Distribution Grade I within 18 months; NIMS training may be required.
