RESEARCH ANALYST 1

Reporting to the Manager, Capital Planning, Toronto Water, the Research Analyst 1 provides research, analysis, and data management related to the Toronto Water Capital program and budget, this position is responsible for the following. Major Responsibilities Collects, analyzes, evaluates and interprets information/findings to develop recommendations for improvement to existing Departmental processes and activities. Prepares and analyzes data and undertakes analyses to support financial planning and reporting on Toronto Water's capital program. Prepares, evaluates and organizes information internally and with other Divisions to support Toronto Water financial reporting and capital coordination activities. Collects, maintains and analyzes data to support the coordination of Toronto Water's Capital program Undertakes analyses and assists in preparing regular updates and summaries to senior management. Ensures accuracy of financial information by undertaking required data updates and checks. Provides support on regular financial and capital expenditure reporting. Participates in problem solving and coordinates solutions. Acts as a liaison between other sections within the Division.
