Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree in Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related field and one (1) year of experience working in corrections or the criminal justice system. In lieu of degree a combination of education, training, and experience may be utilized. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Skilled in establishing cost effective programs and quality control. Requires knowledge in leadership, management, personnel and process performance measurement, investigative principles and practices used in ensuring compliance with appropriate state and federal laws, regulations and requirements of court evidence, and training. Must be able to advise and assist team-members and the public in all aspects of the agency. Must be able to interface with the public regarding procedures. Must be able to interpret and explain court decisions to clients, others, municipal boards, committees, and managers. Emotional intelligence when dealing with people of all backgrounds. Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office.
