The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Senior HRIS Business Analyst in the Department of Human Resources. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. 

Under limited supervision, serves as a lead analyst for enterprise business applications supporting the Human Resources Department, with primary responsibility for the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and related financial functions. Provides advanced business and data analysis to ensure system integrity, accurate transactions, and reliable reporting, and performs related duties as assigned.

Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary Range of$84,830.48 - $129,347.62 Annuallysalary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity

Salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity.

Position Duties

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a closely related field
  • A minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience performing analytical, technical, and administrative support functions, preferably within a Human Resources and/or Information Technology environment
  • Preferred: Demonstrated technical proficiency with at least one enterprise Human Resource Information System (HRIS), preferably PeopleSoft, along with a solid understanding of HR business processes, data governance, and industry best practices
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
