Part Time Cart/Bag Attendant

About the Department

Will provide bag and customer service to patrons with work performed under the general supervision of the Golf Services Manager.

Position Duties

• Daily bag service for patrons
• Set up cars in staging area and set up patrons bags on carts
• Maintain cleanliness of golf car fleet
• Other misc. duties as directed
• Perform duties as directed by the Golf Professional

Minimum Qualifications

• Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and patrons
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends or Holidays
• Customer service oriented individual
• Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Knowledge of golf helpful
• Valid Illinois driver’s license required.

Other Qualifications

Hours: 20 hours weekly, seasonal from April - October

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and 20 pounds frequently and a negligible amount of force to constantly move objects.
• Work requires reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions
• Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
• Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels
• Visual acuity is required for maintaining accurate records, determining the thoroughness and accuracy of work and to observe general surroundings and activities.
• The worker is subject to working numerous hours while sitting and standing
• Requires the use of a motorized vehicle.
