About the Department
Under general supervision, perform work involving bus travel and resource information to the public, business community, neighborhood organizations, and others interested in traveling via public transit.
Position Duties
- Provide information regarding how to travel safely, effectively, and independently by public transportation.
- Provide DDOT-related transportation resources, including public transportation meeting information.
- Attend meetings, forums, employer events, (etc.) that provide transit service information.
- Provide passenger assistance with travel options and directions, route details, and bus schedule information.
- Stay up to date and knowledgeable of all schedules and route changes.
- Maintain records of scheduled events.
- Establish relationships with customers, community members, and advocacy organizations.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications (required):
High school graduation or GED.
One (1) year of customer service experience working directly with the public.
Qualifications (preferred):
Experience in travel training, taking public transportation, and customer service-related fields.
