Student Assistant
Position Duties
The Internal Audit Intern will support the Bureau of Internal Audit team in completing summer audit projects, with a focus on petty cash and inventory reviews across City departments. Under the guidance of audit staff, the intern will assist with basic audit procedures, data review, and documentation while gaining exposure to internal controls, financial processes, and audit standards within a government environment.
Other Qualifications
This position provides an opportunity to develop a foundational understanding of internal auditing, including how risk is identified, controls are evaluated, and audit work is performed in accordance with professional standards.
