Determines techniques for photography
Copies negatives from flat art or photographs
Records the use of materials, equipment, parts or supplies
Reviews photographic proofs
Writes technical specifications for purchase of equipment, supplies and
parts
Inventories materials, equipment, parts or supplies
Corrects flaws in prints or negatives
Obtains current price quotes for special purchases
Schedules the use of equipment or facilities
Monitors the use of materials, equipment, parts or supplies
Estimates necessary quantity of time, costs, materials or personnel for
the accomplishment of assignments or goals
Recommends the purchase of new and replacement materials, equipment,
parts and supplies
Files records
Reads journals or other publications for the purpose of keeping abreast
of developments in the field
Requisitions materials, equipment, parts or supplies
Plans workshops, seminars, lectures, exhibits and demonstrations

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of the procedures for operating enlarging equipment

Knowledge of chemicals used in film processing

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Completion of a vocational, technical or specialized training
program in photography or photographic technology.
LICENSE:S, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS
Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in
the State of New Jersey.
SUBSTITUTION
Applicants who do not possess the required education may
substitute one (1) year of professional experience in work
involving the taking, developing and printing of photographs.
