Job Title: City Manager – Operations
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (Headquarters)
Reports to: CEO / Operations Head / Director
Salary - Up to 14 LPA (based on experience and interview performance)
Job Summary
The City Manager of Operations is responsible for the end-to-end performance of all outlets across the Hyderabad market. You will lead a team of Area and Store Managers to ensure "The Ultimate Ice Cream Experience" is delivered consistently. This role blends strategic planning, financial P&L management, and "on-the-floor" operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Excellence & Quality Control
- Ensure all Hyderabad outlets strictly follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the "Cold Stone" mixing technique, portion control, and presentation.
- Maintain 100% compliance with FSSAI standards, health codes, and internal cleanliness audits.
- Oversee the supply chain for the city, ensuring zero stockouts of premium ingredients while minimizing wastage and "meltage" losses.
2. Financial & Sales Growth
- Manage the city-wide budget, including labor costs, electricity (critical for cold chain), and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
- Partner with the marketing team to execute city-specific promotions, seasonal flavor launches, and store-level activations.
- Oversee performance on delivery platforms (Swiggy/Zomato), ensuring high ratings and eicient dispatch times.
3. People Leadership & Training
- Recruit, train, and mentor Store Managers
- Implement engagement initiatives to reduce high turnover rates
- Conduct regular appraisals and identify high-potentialemployees for the company’s internal growth pipeline.
4. Customer Experience
- Monitor customer reviews and implement corrective actions for any service lapses.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 12–14 years in F&B/Retail Operations, with at least 3–5 years in a multiunit or Area/City Manager role.
- Degree in Hotel Management or an MBA (Operations/Marketing) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of cold-chain logistics and Hyderabad’s local market/consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in POS systems and MS Excel for data analysis.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Telugu is essential for managing local staff and vendors.

- City-wide Same-Store Sales Growth (SSSG).
- Average Mystery Audit Score > 90%.
- Food Cost Variance < 2%.
- Employee Retention Rate.
