Role Description
The City Manager is responsible for driving growth, merchant acquisition, and operational excellence for UPI-based payment solutions within the assigned city. This role focuses on expanding the merchant network, increasing transaction volume, and ensuring seamless adoption of digital payment platforms.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, business development, or fintech/payments ecosystem
Strong expertise in team leadership and field sales team management
Demonstrated ability in merchant acquisition and driving transaction growth
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
Experience in managing client/merchant relationships and retention strategies
Ability to perform in a high-growth, target-driven, and fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
Prior experience in UPI, digital payments, merchant onboarding, or staffing solutions is an added advantage
