The Opportunity
We are a tight-knit STEM education startup expanding our footprint into Mumbai. We run weekly classes, school tie-ups, and camps teaching foundational technologies and engineering to school students. We are seeking a City Lead to spearhead our local operations and act as a Builder—someone who thrives on wiring circuits, prototyping physical structures, and debugging code. We believe children develop a fundamentally different relationship with difficulty when they build things, and we need a leader who can translate complex physics and logic for the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Set Up & Lead Operations: Spearhead our Mumbai expansion. Build lightweight operational processes from the ground up, manage materials and STEM kits, and coordinate directly with local center teams autonomously.
Teach & Facilitate: Plan and deliver highly engaging, hands-on STEM sessions. Guide school students through fundamental concepts spanning Electricity, Structural Engineering, Aeromodelling, Design Thinking, 3D Printing, IoT, and AI.
Develop Cognitive Mechanics: Use physical builds as a vehicle for deeper cognitive development. Utilize structural or coding challenges to teach resilience, systems thinking, and logical reasoning from first principles.
Invent Curriculum: Actively conceptualize, prototype, and build new hands-on STEM project ideas to integrate into our continuous classes and camps.
Who We Are Looking For
Proven Tinkerer: You possess a Science or Engineering background and have a history of building things (hardware, software, or physical structures) outside of standard academic assignments.
High Agency: You do not wait for instructions when problems arise. You proactively identify operational bottlenecks and design solutions.
Process Creator: You dislike bloated, rigid rules. Instead, you know how to build effective systems that get the job done efficiently without micromanagement.
Natural Educator: You have the empathy and patience required to maintain a safe, positive classroom environment, and you can translate the scientific method into an intuitive process for school students.
Collaborative Mindset: You are deeply curious, highly adaptable, and easy to work with. You view feedback as a mechanism for rapid iteration, not a personal critique.
