Role Description The City Head role at Camorent is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for end-to-end city operations, including managing the local gear inventory, overseeing studio and vendor partnerships, and ensuring smooth coordination of crew, logistics, and on-ground shoot execution. The City Head will lead and mentor a city team, monitor performance metrics, and drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. Daily activities include planning and tracking bookings, resolving operational issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, sales, and customer success), and implementing standardized processes that align with Camorent’s quality and trust standards. The role also involves identifying local market opportunities, nurturing relationships within the film and creator community, and representing Camorent at industry events and workshops.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in city or regional operations management, preferably in media, production, logistics, or a tech-enabled services environment.
- Proficiency in stakeholder and vendor management, including building and maintaining relationships with studios, gear vendors, and production partners.
- Demonstrated skills in team leadership, people management, and performance tracking to guide and develop a high-performing city team.
- Ability to manage end-to-end operational workflows, including scheduling, resource allocation, issue resolution, and process optimization.
- Comfort with using SaaS platforms, dashboards, and basic data analysis to make informed decisions and improve city-level performance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between creators, crew, and internal teams.
- Background or strong interest in the film, content creation, or entertainment industry is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, media, or a related field; equivalent practical experience in operations or production management is also valued.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, handle fast-paced environments, and adapt to the evolving needs of creators
