What This Role Is…
The Manager of Retail Enablement supports the execution, tracking, and sustainability of key retail initiatives
across the Sales Organization. The Manager of Retail Enablement partners closely with Retail Operations
leadership, showroom teams, and cross-departmental partners to ensure programs are effectively implemented and aligned with CITY standards. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Retail Operations department at CITY.
Position Title: Manager of Retail Enablement
Reports to: Managing Director of Retail Enablement
Location: Hybrid – City Furniture Showrooms & Corporate Office
Department/Sub-Department: Retail Operations/Retail Operations
What You’ll Do…
As a Manager of Retail Enablement, your primary responsibilities will be to:
● Support Execution of Initiatives (30%)
○ Assist in the rollout and implementation of retail initiatives across showrooms
○ Partner with Sales Leaders to ensure consistent execution of processes and standards
○ Help reinforce accountability through follow-up and communication
● Project Coordination (20%)
○ Support development and maintenance of A3s, project plans, and timelines
○ Track progress of initiatives and provide updates to leadership
○ Help coordinate communication between teams
● Continuous Improvement (15%)
○ Identify basic process gaps and escalate opportunities for improvement
○ Participate in problem-solving discussions and team meetings
○ Support implementation of process updates
● Daily Management System (15%)
○ Help maintain visibility into initiatives and communication plans
○ Ensure materials and updates are shared with appropriate teams
● Field Engagement (Gemba) (10%)
○ Visit showrooms to observe execution and identify opportunities for improvement
○ Provide feedback and escalate gaps to leadership
○ Support consistency across locations
Additional duties and responsibilities as a Manager of Retail Enablement:
● Program Tracking & Reporting (5%)
○ Assist in maintaining reporting tools and tracking key metrics
○ Compile and organize performance data for review
○ Support audits to ensure initiatives are being followed
● Team Support (5%)
○ May support onboarding, training coordination, or team initiatives as needed
● Adheres to all assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.

What’s Required…
• Education & Work Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree preferred
o Experience in retail, sales, or operations
• Work Environment & Schedule:
o Flexible work week Monday – Friday occasional nights, weekends, holidays as needed
o 10% Travel with regular showroom visits
Technology Requirements:
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
o Familiarity with internal mobile applications and reporting tools
• Certifications / Licenses
o Valid Florida Driver’s License
