Role Description
The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience managing
Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments, including version control, image management, testing, and troubleshooting. This role is critical in maintaining and optimizing a large-scale Citrix environment that includes both persistent and non-persistent desktop configurations.
Responsibilities
- Deep understanding and Engineering level knowledge of Citrix DaaS
- Creation and Maintenance of MCS VDIs (hosted on on-premise and Azure)
- Engineering level Experience to Create / Modify Existing GPOs facilitating the Citrix Environment.
- Ability to Create / Modify PowerShell Scripts for any kind of Automation or Scripting requirements. Knows how to Script in Powershell.
- Create SCCM Packages for apps to be installed on Persistent Desktop
- Maintain Azure VDIs
- Fslogix VHDX Mounting , profile recreation, vhdx troubleshooting
- Maintain Storage in NetApp (currently the fslogix profiles are stored in NetApp)
- Administer vmware environment to maintain the on-premises VDIs (Creation / Deletion of virtual machines, Housekeeping of Vmware Datastores.)
- LoanDepot is going to implement Cisco UCS Hardware, Hence, need to have implementation level knowledge on this tech.
- Maintain GPOs
- Patch the Non-Persistent MCS VDIs on a monthly basis.
- ITIL knowledge for maintaining Operations within ServiceNow
