Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot patrols to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to incidents and dispatch calls, assessing situations and taking appropriate action
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
- Contact emergency personnel when necessary
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as required, providing detailed incident reports
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations
Required Skills
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Demonstrated discipline and commitment to safety
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent observational skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience working with transient populations and the ability to de-escalate volatile situations is a plus
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of security experience (required)
- Valid BSIS Guard Card (required no exceptions)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be over 21 years old
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $32.08 per hour (based on experience; details discussed during interview)
