We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to help our HR Department carry out all payroll procedures with speed and accuracy. Come join our team in our brand-new corporate office in Woodland Hills, CA.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
- Review and audit timecards.
- Efficiently process payroll by ensuring that we are complying with federal and state wage and hour laws. Prepare and transmit weekly payroll.
- Ensure employee payroll is processed accurately and timely.
- Process garnishments and wage orders.
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
- Process employees’ inquiries and respond in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in payroll and labor legislation.
- Assists with processing terminations, when needed.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 5+ year of experience within payroll departments in providing support for payroll
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience using ADP or other very similar payroll system (Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail required
- Strong computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Previous experience in Human Resources or related
- General knowledge of Labor and Employment laws
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Data Entry Skills
- Sense of urgency
