VP, Business Lead Data Analyst (Hybrid)

The Business Lead Data Analyst role sits within the Data & Analytics team and is responsible for supporting business leaders with data-driven insights and analyses. This role will work closely with the business and functional teams to understand their data and analytics needs and deliver solutions that drive business value and support decision-making. The role will also work with the broader data science team to support deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning models. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with business leaders to understand their data and analytics requirements and translate those into insightful data analyses and actionable recommendations - Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy and decision-making - Develop and deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses using the latest data visualization tools and techniques - Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams to support the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions - Provide technical and functional expertise to ensure the effective use of data assets and analytics capabilities across the organization - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the data and analytics space Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science - 7+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or similar data-driven role - Strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools like SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, etc. - Experience in delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to business stakeholders - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making - Knowledge of financial services and/or banking domain is preferred
